Compact Disc (CD) + Digital Album

The penultimate punkiest of turn-of-the-millennium optical media has to be the 3" CD. It was the Tijuana Bible of the no-audience underground. While cleaning out my basement last fall I found an unused case of 3" CDs and immediately knew the next Joe Diddley project would be a 20 minute EP that could be contained within those particular shiny confines.

Five bucks plus two for media mail shipping will get you the glorious droning blues and straining scraping loops of TRENCH WARFARE in a slick jewel case with original artwork by upfromsumdirt (upfromsumdirt.com). And it makes a great coaster, too!

about

TRENCH WARFARE is the dirge of the current, the current events and the current of the water. Looping and grating and never resolving, Joe Diddley has managed to find the pulse of the ether and reverberates it here. This is noisy, dense, and blue.
